Mild Climate, Beaches, Sports & Nature

The northern part of Lake Garda has a Mediterranean climate on the coast that permits growth of vegetation such as lemons, palm trees, olive trees and laurel. On the surrounding mountains there is a typical alpine climate so it is an ideal place for hiking and biking. The mild climate also makes it a popular international tourist attraction. The beaches with easy access, the clear water and the mild temperatures attract visitors from all over. The area  also includes the magnificent towns of Arco, Riva del Garda, Torbole and Nago.
